Product Description Betnovate Scalp Application 30ml Betnovate: Treatm3nt of eczema, including atopic, infantile and discoid eczemas; prurigo nodularis; psoriasis (excluding widespread plague psoriasis); neurodermatoses, including lichen simplex, lichen planus; seborrheic dermatitis; contact sensitivity reactions; discoid lupus erythematosus. As an adjunct to systemic steroid therapy in generalized erythroderma. Also in the managem3nt of insect bites reactions and prickly heat. Betnovate Scalp Solution: Steroid-responsive dermatoses of the scalp eg, psoriasis, seborrhea capitis and inflammation associated with severe dandruff. Betnovate: A small quantity should be applied to the affected area 2 or 3 times daily until improvem3nt occurs. It may then be possible to maintain improvem3nt by applying once a day, or even less often. Betnovate cream is especially appropriate for moist or weeping surfaces and Betnovate ointm3nt for dry, lichenified or scaly lesions, but this is not invariably so. Betnovate lotion is particularly suitable when a minimal application to a large area is required. In the more resistant lesions eg, the thickened plaques of psoriasis on elbows and knees, the effect of Betnovate can be enhanced, if necessary, by occluding the treatm3nt area with polythene film. Overnight occlusion is only usually adequate to bring about a satisfactory response in such lesions; thereafter, improvem3nt can usually be maintained by regular application without occlusion. Betnovate Scalp Solution: A small quantity should be applied to the scalp at night and in the morning until improvem3nt is noticeable.
